Best Backpack!

Pros: - Great size to carry around everything I need for college (laptop, chargers, pencil case, necessities, notebooks (2), portfolios, etc) - Durable - Looks good - Water resistant Cons: - Gets a little uncomfortable if you overstuff the bag

No latch for the laptop compartment

It's an okay backpack. It looks pretty good. My biggest gripe is that there's no latch of any sort on the laptop compartment, and it's made in the shape of a V. So walking around with a laptop means it's flapping around back and forth, bouncing against your back. Rather annoying.

Nice for a daily backpack

I am a 5.3" tall college student, and found it always hard to find the perfect-sized backpack for my daily trips to my classes. For some reason, I always ended up with backpacks that kind of looked too big for me. My friends would even joke and say that I myself could fit in my backpack. This backpack made my daily wanderings around campus easier and more pleasant. Great quality too.

Great Flexible bag.

Great Style, Great Size, Great Quality! I am using this as a diaper bag currently, and it is great for food and emergency supplies on the outer pocket and toys/diaper supplies inside. I couldn't be happier with the quality and the comfort.

Simple yet long lasting

I bought this back pack my freshman year of college and I am now a junior, Yes this backpack has lasted me this long! Great value for such a durable backpack. Now I find myself searching for a new back pack for some negative reasons that have always bugged me. Negatives: - The bottom of the pack is not padded, so if you're not careful you could damage your Laptop when setting it down. - There is no water carrier outside, so I find myself putting a maybe not well sealed bottle/protein shaker in the same compartment as my books, headphones and laptop. - Lack of storage, found myself putting all my pens, food and other belongings together. Positives: This backpack is very durable it will last for years Nice and compact with a simple design

Strong and not too big for a 5ft 5 girl

I've been looking for a bookbag that will hold my laptop and stay sturdy for a long time and this Dakine is everything I needed. No cons really, I just needed a good bookbag for college.

Super Comfy Straps!

Good fabric, good zippers. The front pouch is big. I recommend a pencil case or zipper pouch to help keep it organized. And, the zippers have the fabric overlap to keep rain from coming the zipper! Taller than I expected. The straps have a super soft fabric for against your body. I carry the same amount in this one as I did in my old Jansport, but this feels lighter and sits more naturally on the body. Highly recommended.

Works Great

This works great as my gym bag- there are tiny pockets in the front section that fit my gym lock, deodorant, etc. I also use it to carry my other junk (snacks, smoothies) when I don't have gym clothes in there. The straps are comfortable and the weight gets distributed well even when heavy.

Cute print and size

I love the print and size (I'm 5'1"), doesn't look like I'm drowning in it. Enough pockets to stay organized without looking or feeling too busy. My only complaint is that when I have my laptop in the sleeve without much else in the backpack to "plump" it up, my laptop will bounce against my back when I walk.

Good backpack for daily use

As much as I like this backpack, I'm not totally in love with it. Things I like about it: beautiful design and color, large enough to hold my 13" laptop and schoolwork, zippers are smooth, durable material. Things I would improve: having an additional smaller front pocket for miscellaneous items, could use some additional padding in the back.
